County Court Judgment (CCJ)

This is obtained after issuing a Claim Form in the County Court. It will increase the debt by the value of any legal costs, court fees or interest. It is publicly registered information and will be noted on your credit record, making it hard for you to apply for credit for 6 years. Once obtained, it allows the holder to instigate numerous court enforcement methods (as listed)
